“When I take a piece of leather into my hands, I can already see what I’m going to make out of it. I already know in the very first moment, after the very first touch, what would be the most beautiful, the best and the most economic.” - Endre Kocsis, artisan furrier.
The joy of creation and the respect for artwork, as well as to pass on the secrets of artisan fur making, is a tradition in the Kocsis family. My grand-grandfather was already an artisan furrier, and my father also worked in the fur workshop from morning till night. No wonder that I started to incept the tricks of the trade very early, already as a small child.
The most important for me in my profession is the process of creation. To always make something new. To work and create with passion, with good intentions and with respect for professional principles.
